“It’s definitely you know, the pressures on,” said Ryan Kothrade, a Packers fan.

From signs, to cheeseheads, celebrity guests and everything in-between, fans showed up and showed out in their green and gold the Packers Everywhere Pep Rally.

“I’m a lifelong packer fan,” said Colleen Zaccard, a Packers fan. “We are really in enemy territory, so the more community we can get here the better.”

Saturday night will be the 213th meeting between the Packers and the Bears, but it’s only their third ever match up in the playoffs. Some fans say this historic rivalry is personal.

“We’ve got to go all the way, my husband is a bears fan,” said Zaccard. “We’ve got to take him down and make it to the Super Bowl.

Regardless of whether they will be at Soldier Field, or cheering at a screen, fans say they will be loud and proud.

Viral video shows Eagles fan harassing Packers fan and his fiancée during NFC wild-card game

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WFRV) – A troubling interaction between a Green Bay Packers couple and an unruly Philadelphia Eagles fan has gone viral following the Packers’ 22-10 playoff loss to the Eagles.

The video, posted to X by Alexander Basara (@Basaraski), shows the couple enduring harassment during the NFC wild-card game. Basara, a Packers fan who attended the game with his fiancée, shared that they faced derogatory comments from a Philadelphia fan, including offensive remarks directed at his fiancée.Former Packers coach Mike McCarthy and the Dallas Cowboys “parting ways”: Report

The Eagles fan allegedly called her derogatory remarks and ignored Basara’s attempts to defuse the situation, responding aggressively with more expletives and foul language.

Dov Kleiman, a popular NFL account on X, reposted the video, condemning the incident and stating, “They just wanted to watch the game. There’s no place for this in sports.”

The video has sparked widespread outrage, with thousands of fans condemning the Eagles fan’s behavior. Many Eagles supporters expressed embarrassment, emphasizing that one individual does not represent the entire fan base.

Basara is now attempting to identify the man in the video. Despite the viral attention, the couple’s experience at the game left them deeply disappointed. The video can be found on X.Firearm incident in Wisconsin, suspect uncooperative but eventually arrested

DAVENPORT, Iowa — The Chicago Bears game this past weekend was a wild one, with a comeback win over the Green Bay Packers, 31-27.

But for a Davenport police officer and one Bears fan, the home game at Soldier Field on Nov. 9 was even wilder.

It started just like any other game for season ticket holder Laura Hart, her husband and two daughters. They had been at the game for just a few minutes before Hart went into cardiac arrest.

“It was the time for the national anthem, and I stood up, and that’s basically the last thing I remember,” she said. “That is when my angels swept in, and all the helpers came.”

Those angels include Davenport Police Ofc. Riley McIntyre. He jumped into action and began performing CPR on Hart, who was taken to the hospital for two weeks.

“You don’t die and come back to life and become, you know, you’re not the same person,” Hart said.

After Hart’s recovery, the two were welcomed back to Soldier Field and were recognized ahead of the Jan. 4 game against the Lions.

“She was kind of speechless,” McIntyre said. “She said, ‘I don’t know what to tell you other than thank you.’”

And rivalries don’t mean anything when it comes to saving lives for McIntyre.

“If it was a Packers fan, would you have done the same thing?” News 8’s Haley Bickelhaupt playfully asked McIntyre. “Haha, rivalry, we can put that aside,” he said. “Just being able to help someone else is the key to why we do things.”

McIntyre credits his constant CPR training for the quick action he took. Hart works in healthcare herself and was once on the other side of the situation, helping someone during cardiac arrest. Both encourage people to learn CPR in the event of an emergency.
