NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly starting a fight at Nashville International Airport in Tennessee.
Autum Cathey is accused of yelling racial slurs at law enforcement, causing a commotion to various businesses inside the airport and attacking an elderly woman.

According to an arrest warrant, officers responded to a call about a fight at the airport’s Green Room Restaurant.
At one point during the chaos, the arrest warrant says Cathey started yelling at an 81-year-old woman before punching the woman with a “closed fist holding a cellphone.” The victim suffered bruising and a quarter-inch laceration above her left eye, the arrest warrant states.
The two apparently had a short conversation before Cathey allegedly punched the victim. When officers arrived, many witnesses and the victim all provided the same information on the incident.
After the alleged attack, the arrest warrant says Cathey continued walking through the concourse, destroying a Mexican pride display and knocking items off numerous business shelves.
When law enforcement confronted Cathey, she resisted arrest by “going limp” and pulling away many times, the arrest warrant says.
She also allegedly called the officers racial slurs such as “Mayo Monkey” and spit on the Operational Firearms Commander’s head and neck during the arrest.
Cathey was taken into custody and charged with elderly abuse.
