Naked trespasser shot and killed after attacking Studio City residents
By Joy Benedict
A Vietnam War veteran shot and killed a naked man who broke into a Studio City home Friday morning.
The Los Angeles Police Department said investigators believe the suspect drove to the neighborhood on Tujunga Avenue, took off his clothes on the sidewalk and then started inexplicably screaming.
LAPD Capt. Warner Castillo said the suspect picked up signs before breaking into a woman’s home. Castillo added that the suspect chased her into the street at the same time that her neighbor, a 79-year-old Vietnam War Veteran, ran out of his home to help her.
“He tells the suspect to leave, warns him that he has a gun,” Castillo said. “Grabs the 79-year-old man, lifts him up and throws him on the ground.”
Despite breaking both of his legs in the attack, police said the veteran continued to fight back.
“As he’s on the ground, the suspect approaches him and tries to pick him up again,” Castillo said. “The 79-year-old man subsequently shoots the suspect three times.”
The veteran was taken to the hospital after killing the naked man.
“Hopefully, he makes it out of here without being in a wheelchair for the rest of his life,” Castillo said.

Flanagan has reportedly worked in the attorney general’s office for seven years and works on appeals cases in criminal court. She was ultimately charged with willful trespass and issued a summons to appear in court.

No word on what’s causing all of the security issues … although Drake’s rap beef with Kendrick Lamar and other artists has been top of mind for people looking to point fingers. Cops told us they were aware of the beef, but haven’t said it’s at all related.

Shocking bodycam footage has emerged showing a guest at a $400-a-night hotel attacking Florida cops after they were called to remove her for ‘causing a disturbance’.
Julia ReJean Moorhead, 36, was filmed hurling abuse at the police before lying down and thrashing around in the street in an unsuccessful bid to prevent her arrest.
The Louis Vuitton purse-toting suspect, who appeared visibly worse-for-wear, lashed out after cops arrived at the Ben hotel in West Palm Beach following a frantic call from hotel staff.
In the footage taken in October but released this week, Moorhead is seen sitting outside the premises swigging from a carton of water in a seemingly combative mood.
A hotel worker describes to police how she fell over in the lobby and started ‘going crazy’ after staff tried to ascertain if she was staying at the hotel.

As the cops approach asking if she has had ‘too much of a good time’, Moorhead immediately goes on the offensive and barks that she doesn’t know why they have been called.
‘Why are you surrounding me, I’ve done nothing wrong,’ she fumes, before storming back into the lobby,
She is quickly pursued by police who tell her she cannot be on the property.
‘Why the f*** are you doing this to me? I need to talk to my boyfriend,’ she whines as cops escort her back outside.
Once there, they inform her she will be considered a trespasser if she tries to get back inside.
‘Why, give me a f***ing reason!’ She demands before continuing to argue with cops, at one point calling one officer ‘stupid’.
‘Who the f**k are you?’ she asks one officer, before threatening to report everyone involved.
Eventually the hotel manager steps in and asks if she can be removed from the property due to the scene she is causing.
But this only infuriates Moorhead more and she throws herself to the ground to prevent them moving her.

The situation escalated after Moorhead turned and struck one of the emergency responders, prompting cops to pile on top of her and slap her in handcuffs
She finally gets up and storms across the road shouting profanities, before wheeling around and striking one of the officers.
The rest of the cops then pile on top of her and slap her in cuffs as she wails and protests.
She continues to resist arrest, thrashing around on the floor so hard her skirt rides up exposing her lower half
As police attempt to bundle her into the car, she falls to the floor sobbing again, shouting ‘f**k you’.
The tussle continues as cops continue to try and restrain her as she shouts at them to get off.
Eventually she is bundled towards the car but continues to thrash around like a toddler in a tantrum, making it impossible for cops to load her in.
She is finally dragged kicking and screaming onto the back seat of the vehicle by police on the other side of the car who managed to haul her through.
Her boyfriend then appears and pleads with cops to be ‘gentle’ with her.

She pleaded not guilty and her case remains on going.
