Bodycam: Traffic stop turns leads to drug bust in El Paso’s Lower Valley
EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso police released bodycam and dashcam video that shows how a traffic stop over expired registration turned into a drug bust in the Lower Valley resulting in four people arrested.
On Thursday, the El Paso Police Department took to social media to post a footage that shows an officers pulling over a gray Honda Civic on Carolina and Giles at around 4 p.m. on Monday.
According to EPPD, officers pulled the Civic over because they saw it had an expired registration.

However, as police video shows, after the car came to a stop, a man jumped out of the passenger side and took off running.
As a result, police called in a K9 unit and in the video you can see how, by following the dog’s trained snout they find a suspect hiding inside a home’s shed in what appears to be the bottom of a shelf.
