HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Documents reveal the details of an Horry County disturbance call that led to a standoff last week.
Officers with the Horry County Police Department arrested Aaron Wigger, 33, on Wednesday after a more than an hour and a half standoff.

Wigger was charged with first-degree domestic violence and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to jail records.
These charges stem from an argument where the alleged victim tried to leave a home with her child after an argument with Wigger when he grabbed her to prevent her from leaving, an arrest warrant says.
According to the warrant, Wigger also smacked the victim and scratched her face before brandishing a firearm.
A 911 hang-up led police to respond to a disturbance at a home on East Walkerton Road around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, according to an incident report.
According to the report, when officers arrived on scene, they saw a car that appeared to be blocking another car from leaving the house’s garage.
An officer saw Wigger leaving the home and told him to stop before he went back into the home and slammed the door, the report says.
After Wigger went back into the home, dispatch allegedly alerted the officer that there was a gun used in the disturbance. According to the report, the officer then requested additional units.
Once the officer learned of a possible gun involved, they noticed two people in one of the cars in the garage and removed them and brought them to a safe location, according to the report.
The report says that when other units arrived, they established a perimeter around the home and observed Wigger turning off lights and peeking through the blinds of the home.
Officers then allegedly began asking Wigger to come out of the home on a PA system while another officer interviewed the victim of the disturbance.
According to the report, Wigger did not answer the officers’ call-outs and refused to exit the home for more than an hour and a half before Special Operations and Negotiators arrived on the scene.
Negotiators continued to call Wigger out of the home, when he refused again, SWAT entered the home and took him into custody, the report says.
After taking Wigger into custody, the report says that crews searched the home and found the alleged handgun in a child’s bedroom closet before confirming it was a pellet gun that was a replica of a handgun.
Wigger was then brought to J Reuben Long Detention Center, where he posted a $30,000 bond for the two charges on Wednesday.
