‘Gentle’ airport Karen turns into violent demon after being arrested for drunken behavior

A drunk airport passenger went from meek and mild to a full meltdown after she was arrested for public intoxication.
The woman, named Paula, was approached by officers at Dallas Fort Worth airport after they received ‘multiple’ calls about her behavior.
While she was initially compliant, things took a turn after she learned that she would not be able to board her flight to Louisiana and would instead be spending a night in jail.
The October 2024 incident was captured on bodycam footage obtained newly unearthed by Police Watch.
In the video, Paula is seen wandering around the departures lounge when police approach and ask her what is going on.
She immediately admits to drinking and says she is ‘not bad’ when asked how intoxicated she is.
However, when police ask her where her stuff is she shrugs, ‘somewhere’ and flops down onto a chair.
She admits to drinking ‘four Absoluts’ around four hours ago and says she hasn’t eaten since downing the vodkas.

As the interrogation continues, Paula becomes agitated and suddenly bursts into tears crying.
‘Please don’t do this, I just want to go home,’ she sobs gently as the police explain they just want to help.
The officers ask her some field sobriety questions which she manages to answer, however she continues pleading with them to let her go.
‘We got several calls about you okay and even while you were walking over here you were falling over,’ the officer informs her. ‘You’re unstable on your feet, I can smell the alcohol coming off you.’
They ask to see her ID but it quickly becomes clear that she has lost her license during her vodka-fueled antics, prompting one officer to try and search for it at the bar and in the bathroom.
‘Please don’t do this, I’m just tired,’ Paula insists. ‘Am I going to get like busted? Do I need to run?’
The cops ask her if she knows where she is she looks visibly confused before answering ‘Terminal One’.
‘We don’t have a terminal one here ma’am,’ a female officer informs her.

However, after learning she was to be arrested for public intoxication Paula became violent, even kicking a police car as she was taken into custody
Eventually the police decide they need to arrest her and tell Paula she will be coming in to sleep off the alcohol.
Paula’s friendly mask suddenly slips, with the drunk flier hurling f and c-bombs at arresting officers while struggling and kicking a police car.
‘Why did you grab me? What did I do?’ she demands before she is told she is intoxicated in public.
‘Really? F**k you!’ she spits back at the officer before she is walked through the airport where she continues cursing. ‘F**k you, f**king b***h.’
Her tirade continues all the way outside where she lashes out and kicks a police car as she passes.
Paula then starts jerking around as the officers try to search her before placing her inside the vehicle.
Once she arrives at the police station, she can be heard kicking and screaming from outside the car.

She is then walked inside where she continues to excoriate the officers, targeting the female officer in particular who she calls a ‘c**t’ as well as a ‘smelly f***king t**t’.
Disgustingly, Paula also tells a female police officer ‘You smell worse than my c***.’
At one point Paula starts mimicking the female officer and kicking against the door.
It takes several officers to hustle her inside and try and remove her jewelry as she begins contorting herself to make it as difficult as possible.
‘Does that feel good you f**king b***h?’ she repeatedly asks as she is finally forced to the ground.
As the clip ends Paula can be seen lying in a heap on the floor of the cell.

Woman goes full Karen at Toronto’s Pearson Airport in hard-to-watch viral video
Today in scenes that are as hard to watch as they are to look away from, we have video footage of an irate airline passenger screaming about how she intends to call lawyers over a flight delay at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.
Originally shot around the holidays at a WestJet terminal within Pearson and uploaded to TikTok, the clip in question is only today exploding in popularity thanks to a heavy-hitting Instagram account called Passenger Shaming.
“Karens out here Karening… DON’T BE A KAREN,” wrote the account when sharing the video with its more than 1.2 million followers on Friday morning. The clip was simultaneously cross-posted to another IG account called “Airport Karen.”
Upon watching the video, it’s easy to see why this woman, whose actual name is unknown, has been labelled a super-Karen — she meets all the criteria for the pejorative label, from her race and gender (white female) to her haircut (mom shag) to her bold, entitled, “let-me-speak-to-your-manager” attitude.
“Look at all those people down there, this is goddamn bullshit!” screams the Karen in question at the top of the clip toward a service counter that, according to the original uploader, was staffed by WestJet.

The woman appears to be angry about a flight delay or cancellation, and will not accept staff shortages as an excuse to leave her in Toronto (homegirl could clearly benefit from a marg on the beach in Punta Cana.)
“We can’t fly because of your staff shortages! Don’t give me the bullshit…” yells our Karen of the day.

“Are you done yelling?” says someone behind the service counter, at which point the woman brags that she “works for a bunch of lawyers” who are “getting called tomorrow.”
After telling the airline worker that she “doesn’t give a shit” what he thinks, the woman is told by another apparent airline employee that she won’t be permitted to travel with them if she doesn’t stop swearing.
“Really?” she shouts. “We’re not travelling anyway! I want a refund and I want to rebook.”
A man behind the counter says something along the lines of “we will make sure that you don’t travel at all if you continue [to behave this way].”
“I don’t give a shit,” says the Karen. “I want a refund and I’m booking with another airline!”
At this point, the man Karen is travelling with tells her to calm down and breathe. She is visibly upset, but it has become apparent that her antics are getting her nowhere.
“This is god damn shit!” she shouts before an employee asks her to step out of the line. And there ends the cringey video — but not the discourse around how entitled airline passengers behave amid (admittedly sometimes horrible) air travel snafus.
“As someone who’s worked for an airline this behaviour is appalling. Respect the people who have the power to kick you off a flight!” wrote one TikTok commenter on the original upload.
“She should be embarrassed,” wrote another. “I am for her.”
