A Vietnam War veteran shot and killed a naked man who broke into a Studio City home Friday morning.

The Los Angeles Police Department said investigators believe the suspect drove to the neighborhood on Tujunga Avenue, took off his clothes on the sidewalk and then started inexplicably screaming.

LAPD Capt. Warner Castillo said the suspect picked up signs before breaking into a woman’s home. Castillo added that the suspect chased her into the street at the same time that her neighbor, a 79-year-old Vietnam War Veteran, ran out of his home to help her.

“He tells the suspect to leave, warns him that he has a gun,” Castillo said. “Grabs the 79-year-old man, lifts him up and throws him on the ground.”

Despite breaking both of his legs in the attack, police said the veteran continued to fight back.

“As he’s on the ground, the suspect approaches him and tries to pick him up again,” Castillo said. “The 79-year-old man subsequently shoots the suspect three times.”

The veteran was taken to the hospital after killing the naked man.

“Hopefully, he makes it out of here without being in a wheelchair for the rest of his life,” Castillo said.

Bodycam footage from the Newport Police Department in Newport, Rhode Island, shows Special Assistant Attorney General Devon Flanagan pleading with officers not to arrest her and appearing to try to use her job as a state prosecutor to get officers to let her go.

“I’m an AG! I’m an AG!” Flanagan can be heard saying to police as they tried to detain her for failing to comply with their demands. “You’re going to regret this. You’re going to regret it. I’m an A-” Flanagan said as she was escorted to the back of a police car and the door was shut.

“Good for you, I don’t give a s—,” one of the arresting officers can be heard saying back at one point.

The Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office indicated Monday that they were reviewing the matter involving Flanagan, but did not indicate whether any disciplinary measures have been taken.

Throughout the video, Flanagan can also be heard telling the officers how to do their job.

“I want you to turn your body-camera off. Protocol is that you turn it off. It’s a citizen request to turn it off,” Flanagan told the officer when he approached her to ask her to leave.

“She knows, she’s a lawyer,” a separate female who was with Flanagan told the officer. “She’s a f—ing lawyer.”

“On the evening of Aug. 14, the Office of the Attorney General learned that members of the Newport Police Department arrested Special Assistant Attorney General Devon Flanagan for trespassing,” Megan Skinner, a spokesperson for the Attorney General’s Office, said Friday, according to The Boston Globe.

Meanwhile, a separate spokesperson confirmed to Fox News Digital that the attorney general’s office was “reviewing the matter” of Flanagan’s arrest.

“The Office immediately began a review of the incident, which we anticipate will conclude within the next few days,” the attorney general’s spokesperson added in their statement to The Boston Globe. “At this time, we are unable to comment further on this matter as it relates to personnel issues.”

Flanagan has reportedly worked in the attorney general’s office for seven years and works on appeals cases in criminal court. She was ultimately charged with willful trespass and issued a summons to appear in court.

In addition to Flanagan’s arrest, the other female in the video, seen yelling at officers and escaping from their handcuffs at one point, was also arrested, according to the Globe. That individual, identified as Veronica Hannan, was reportedly charged with willful trespass, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Drake‘s security is working overtime … because TMZ has learned a person allegedly tried to get into his home yet again this week — the second such instance since the shooting.

According to the Toronto Police Service … at approximately 3:30 PM ET today, police were called about a person trespassing on the property. We’re told the trespasser got into an altercation with security before cops arrived … and, he was taken to the hospital.

There were rumblings something new was afoot when a video got uploaded to social media Thursday that showed a fresh ambulance at Drake’s pad. Police say they’re investigating.

It’s been a scary week for Drake’s household … which just yesterday dealt with a would-be intruder who was stopped at the gates by security, who was also detained until cops arrived.Play video content

And, earlier in the week, the house was caught up in a drive-by shooting … remember, one of his security guards took a bullet during the incident. The security guard was hospitalized, and his condition was described as serious at the time. Unclear how he is now.Play video content

No word on what’s causing all of the security issues … although Drake’s rap beef with Kendrick Lamar and other artists has been top of mind for people looking to point fingers. Cops told us they were aware of the beef, but haven’t said it’s at all related.

Shocking bodycam footage has emerged showing a guest at a $400-a-night hotel attacking Florida cops after they were called to remove her for ‘causing a disturbance’.

Julia ReJean Moorhead, 36, was filmed hurling abuse at the police before lying down and thrashing around in the street in an unsuccessful bid to prevent her arrest.

The Louis Vuitton purse-toting suspect, who appeared visibly worse-for-wear, lashed out after cops arrived at the Ben hotel in West Palm Beach following a frantic call from hotel staff.

In the footage taken in October but released this week, Moorhead is seen sitting outside the premises swigging from a carton of water in a seemingly combative mood.

A hotel worker describes to police how she fell over in the lobby and started ‘going crazy’ after staff tried to ascertain if she was staying at the hotel.

As the cops approach asking if she has had ‘too much of a good time’, Moorhead immediately goes on the offensive and barks that she doesn’t know why they have been called.

‘Why are you surrounding me, I’ve done nothing wrong,’ she fumes, before storming back into the lobby,

She is quickly pursued by police who tell her she cannot be on the property.

‘Why the f*** are you doing this to me? I need to talk to my boyfriend,’ she whines as cops escort her back outside.

Once there, they inform her she will be considered a trespasser if she tries to get back inside.

‘Why, give me a f***ing reason!’ She demands before continuing to argue with cops, at one point calling one officer ‘stupid’.

‘Who the f**k are you?’ she asks one officer, before threatening to report everyone involved.

Eventually the hotel manager steps in and asks if she can be removed from the property due to the scene she is causing.

But this only infuriates Moorhead more and she throws herself to the ground to prevent them moving her.

She finally gets up and storms across the road shouting profanities, before wheeling around and striking one of the officers.

The rest of the cops then pile on top of her and slap her in cuffs as she wails and protests.

She continues to resist arrest, thrashing around on the floor so hard her skirt rides up exposing her lower half

As police attempt to bundle her into the car, she falls to the floor sobbing again, shouting ‘f**k you’.

The tussle continues as cops continue to try and restrain her as she shouts at them to get off.

Eventually she is bundled towards the car but continues to thrash around like a toddler in a tantrum, making it impossible for cops to load her in.

She is finally dragged kicking and screaming onto the back seat of the vehicle by police on the other side of the car who managed to haul her through.

Her boyfriend then appears and pleads with cops to be ‘gentle’ with her.

At one point her boyfriend emerged and pleaded with cops to be 'gentle', prompting one officer to explain she had been punching and kicking them

Moorhead was charged with battery of an emergency responder, resisting arrest, trespass, criminal damage and disorderly intoxication offences.

She pleaded not guilty and her case remains on going.
