Chilling new footage shows shocking moment wife of killer realizes he’s lied about whereabouts on day of murders
Richard Allen was found guilty of the murders of two teenage girls who died in 2017
A woman got a huge shock when her husband admitted something to her that he’d previously denied.
In 2022, Richard Allen was brought in for questioning by police in connection to the 2017 murders of teenage best friends Abby Williams and Libby German.
The two girls, aged 13 and 14, had gone for a walk around the Monon High Bridge over Deer Creek in Delphi, Indiana, when they failed to return home.

Abby and Libby’s bodies went on to be found a day later. Both of their throats had been cut.
Their deaths sparked a nationwide manhunt to find their killer, but the crime remained unsolved for five years.
Before they were killed, Libby had taken a video of Abby on a bridge which showed a man behind her. Then man went on to be known as ‘Bridge Man’ and police launched appeals to help them identify him.

It wasn’t until police came across a misfiled tip that they were able to link Allen to man seen in the video.
He went on to be charged with two counts of murder on October 31, 2022. Allen always insisted that he was innocent, but he was found guilty of the charges he was facing in December 2024 and sentenced to 130 years behind bars (65 years for each murder, which will run consecutively).
Now, in the months that have followed his sentencing, police have released new footage of Allen’s interrogation process.
One video shows the moment Allen’s wife of many years, Kathy, realized her husband had lied to her about his whereabouts on the day of the girls’ murders.

In the clip, Allen tells Kathy that the police were making out that she thought he was guilty.
She went on to say that the investigators told her that the bullet found by Abby and Libby’s bodies belonged to a gun owned by her husband. Kathy asked him how it got there, and Allen insisted that he didn’t know.
They then went on to talk about him being on the bridge.
“Were you on the bridge?” Kathy asked.
“I told them I was on the bridge. I went out to the first trestle,” her husband replied.
Starting to cry, Kathy said that she didn’t recall him telling her that and she told law enforcement that he wasn’t on the bridge.
“Hun, you’re not in any trouble,” Allen reassured her.
While there were holes in Allen’s alibi, his wife stood by his side during his murder trial.

Travis Turner currently faces child pornography charges
The wife of a missing football coach facing charges has spoken out on her husband’s disappearance.

Now, amidst the ongoing search to locate him, police have said that the 46-year-old of Appalachia, Virginia, is facing five counts of child sexual abuse material and five counts of using a computer to solicit a minor.
According to the BBC, additional charges against Turner are still pending, and they have 10 warrants for his arrest, police have also said, but the main focus is finding him ‘safely’.

A spokesperson for the police department said: “VSP’s main priority is locating Turner safely; he is now considered a fugitive.”
They also noted that the search was taking place across multiple jurisdictions.
Before Turner’s disappearance, he was the head coach of the Union High School football team in the Wise County public district.
In a statement to the media, the school district said that Turner ‘remains on leave and is not permitted on school property or to have contact with students’, adding (via CBS): “The division will continue to cooperate with law enforcement as this process moves forward.”
Turner’s wife has also since spoken out, telling the Daily Mail that ‘none of it is true’.

“He’s a good dad and a good husband, and we want him home. That’s it,” she said. “I don’t know anything. I don’t know anything. I’m sorry.
“We are all just hanging in there until we get news.”

The family’s attorney, Adrian Collins, also shared a statement: “I speak today on behalf of Coach Turner’s family. We remain prayerful for his safe return and for everyone affected by the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. We trust God to bring truth and clarity in His time.
“Any allegations should be addressed through the proper legal process – not through speculation or rumor. We ask the public and media to show compassion, accuracy, and respect for the family’s privacy.”
Superintendent Dr Mike Goforth also said that the district was aware of the charges made ‘against a staff member who has been on administrative leave’, and that he was ‘placed on administrative leave with pay while an external agency reviews an allegation that was reported to the division’.
He added (via Fox News): “This is standard procedure and is not a determination of wrongdoing.”Featured Image Credit: WCYB
